At Liftoff, the Supply Platform team is essential to the success of our Publisher side business. Our team is dedicated to designing and building platform infrastructure that processes over a billion events daily, and we are rapidly expanding. Location
This is a remote-first role, requiring:
Ability to work APAC time zone hours
Willingness to travel to Beijing (Guomao) office for in-person meetings 1-2 days per week
This role is eligible for full-time remote work in our Beijing entities.
Responsibilities
Take ownership and work with various product management, development and quality assurance groups in a dynamic environment
Design, engineer & implement highly-available, fault-tolerant, distributed systems enhancing our real-time bidding system
Make code easy to read. Make sure it works efficiently
Write tests and create documentation. Implement continuous integration.
Become informed with core development, product release and its business
Implementing new features and streamlining existing services
Minimizing complexity and increasing shared insight
Mentor and share knowledge with team members.
PagerDuty on-call rotation
Requirements:
BS in Computer Science with 5+ years professional experience; or MS in Computer Science with 3+ years of professional experience; or equivalent work experience
Proficient in at least one of the following backend languages: Golang (preferable), C/C++, Java, Python
Experience building low-latency, high-throughput, distributed backend services
Deep knowledge of computer architectures, data structures, and algorithms
Knowledge of profiling and debugging distributed microservices
Experience building data-intensive applications.
Experience with distributed system observability metrics, using it for data driven design decisions
Have good team communication and collaboration skills.
Enthusiastic about helping others and invested in the team’s success
Good at English (oral, writing, reading)

Previous experience in ad-tech
Proficient in Golang

gRPC, RestAPI, GraphQL
Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Github, CI/CD
